“I really enjoyed playing the simulation because it taught me a lot about purchases and learning how to put needs over wants. I learned that it’s important to think about our house payments, car payments, kid care and the bigger/important bills when getting our income because we could end up in debt or owing money. While playing I found myself budgeting depending on my income and it all varied depending on the careers of everyone else. I learned about credit and how the more credit you have the better because it makes you eligible to buy a house. I will use this by making less unnecessary purchases and putting money into a savings account in case of any emergency.”
