Our eServices

Stay Ahead of Payments with Checkfree Online Bill Pay

With Checkfree Online, you can schedule one-time, recurring, even person-to-person payments. The service is free, secure, and avoids the hassle of writing and delivering checks or dealing with merchant websites.

  • Set up one-time or recurring online payments
  • Send person-to-person (P2P) payments by email of text
  • Track your payment history
  • Avoid merchant fees by setting them up as payees

Checkfree is recommended by security experts as one of the safest ways to pay your bills.

Stay Informed with eStatements and Check Imaging

With eStatements, you can view, download or print an electronic version of your statements, one that is identical to the paper versions you’d receive by mail. eStatements reduce your impact on the environment, plus you’ll enjoy these other hassle-free benefits:

  • Access up to 7 years of statements—anytime, anywhere
  • Statements are automatically organized for your convenience
  • Get email alerts when your statements become available

All physical and electronic transactions will appear on member statements. If you prefer to write physical checks and would prefer more info for your record-keeping, scanned images of all your cleared checks are automatically stored in eTeller. To retrieve a check image (front and back), pull up your account summary and click on the check number. Check images are available for six months from the day you wrote the check and can be accessed 24/7.

Stay Connected with eAlerts

No matter where you are, The District Credit Union wants to help you keep track of your accounts. eAlerts provide real-time notification via text or email as important events happen to your accounts. You choose what you want to be notified of, when and how. Available eAlerts include:

  • Low balance alert (you set the threshold)
  • Deposit and withdrawal alerts
  • Loan payment alerts
  • Daily balance alert (either daily or weekly)
  • Event alerts (such as login attempts, email and password changes, etc.)

Managing your accounts using eAlerts gives you more control and reduces the chance of fraud.

To sign up, all you need to do is log into eTeller and click the eAlerts tab on the left side of the accounts page. Once you’re there, choose the specific alerts you want and where they are to be sent. You can have your eAlerts sent via email or to your cell phone.
